1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Recuva Data Recovery ("the App"), developed by Liso Apps ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately uninstall and stop using the App.
2. Description of Service
The App provides the following tools, all operating locally on your device:
• File Recovery: Scanning and recovering deleted photos, videos, audio files, and documents
• Duplicate Finder: Detecting and removing duplicate files to free storage space
• Empty Folder Cleaner: Identifying and deleting empty directories
• Storage Analyzer: Analyzing storage usage with category breakdowns
• Media Organizer: Categorizing media files by date, type, and folder
• Large Files Finder: Identifying files above specified size thresholds
• Status Saver: Saving WhatsApp/WhatsApp Business status media before 24-hour expiration
• Chat Recovery: Recovering deleted messages from messaging apps via notification monitoring
The App may display Google AdMob advertisements and may offer optional in-app subscriptions through Google Play Billing.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
4. User Responsibilities
• You are solely responsible for any data you recover, delete, or modify using the App
• You must have legal authority and ownership rights to access the files on your device
• You must not use the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or unethical purposes
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of important data before using cleanup features
• You acknowledge that granting permissions to the App is voluntary and can be revoked at any time
5. Permanent Deletion Warning
IMPORTANT: When you use the App to delete files (duplicates, large files, empty folders), those files may be permanently removed from your device and may not be recoverable. Always review files carefully before confirming deletion. We are NOT responsible for any unintended data loss resulting from user-initiated delete operations.
6. File Recovery Disclaimer
File recovery success depends on multiple factors including:
• Time elapsed since the file was deleted
• Whether the storage space has been overwritten by new data
• File system type, device model, and storage conditions
• Android version and storage encryption settings
We cannot guarantee the recovery of any specific files. Recovery results vary by device and circumstances.
7. Notification Listener Consent
The Chat Recovery feature requires Android Notification Listener access. By enabling this feature, you consent to:
• The App reading notification content from messaging apps you select
• Message text being stored in a local database on your device
• This data being used solely for the purpose of message recovery
You can revoke this access at any time from your device's Settings → Apps → Special Access → Notification Access.
8. App Updates
The App may require mandatory updates from time to time to ensure security, compatibility, and functionality. When a mandatory update is available, you must install it to continue using the App. Updates are delivered through the Google Play Store.
9. Ads and Subscriptions
The App may show advertisements served by Google AdMob. Optional subscriptions, if offered, are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play payment, cancellation, renewal, and refund policies. Subscription features, prices, and availability may change as shown in the App or on Google Play.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:
• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• All deleted files can be recovered
• Recovered files will be complete, intact, or uncorrupted
• The App will be compatible with all devices or Android versions
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Liso Apps and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
• The use or inability to use the App
• Any data loss, corruption, or unintended deletion
• Any unauthorized access to your device data
• Any interruption of service
12. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, design, and branding of the App are the exclusive property of Liso Apps and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App. Your continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
